Mark you calendar as we will have more beautiful Cortana dresses coming to Berlin soon! From Oct 18 - 21 2018, we will be hosting a Cortana Bridal Trunk show, showcasing a selection of dresses from their new 2019 collection and some of their timeless wedding dresses from their permanent collection.
If you love minimal styles, high quality fabrics with no embellishments, and unique & playful details then Cortana is a designer you should check out. We are super excited to see the new collection too! Designer Rose Esteva’s beloved design aesthetic is present throughout this new collection with lots of open backs, sweeping dress trains, interesting fabric compositions and asymmetrical cuts. See some of our favourites below.
I have been a long time fan of Israeli designer Alon Livne. Having started his career in the eveningwear niche, Livné brings a clean, fashion-forward aesthetic to the bridal world. When I first saw his avant-garde Livné White collection 2018 I knew immediately this was something for Zo & Willow. It blends art, couture, and fashion all in one beautiful note and was unlike anything I had seen before in the bridal landscape before.
This effortlessly modern collection features minimally embellished wedding dresses with clean and feminine lines, delicate lace, clever draping, silk fabrics and the utmost in tailoring techniques.
We're obsessed with the Made with Love Bridal collection! Come see a larger collection of the MWL wedding dresses in Berlin for just one week only! Spots are going to go quick ladies, so email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP an appointment.
Minimalism has been a rising trend in bridal fashion for a few seasons now.
We love simple, streamlined silhouettes at Zo & Willow and were super excited to see Meghan Markle embracing one of our favourite wedding dress styles. Her dress designed by Clare Waight Miller for Givenchy featured three-quarter-length sleeves, clean lines, a bateau neckline, and a very simple silhouette. Her wedding dress epitomised a timeless minimal elegance yet was still forward thinking and modern in style.
Many of our brides in Germany are minimalists at heart! I love them and I always like to advise them to stay true to their own fashion style when picking their wedding dress.
My sister got married in a Laure De Sagazan wedding dress 2 years ago (the Malot dress to be specific) and when I attended her final dress fitting I knew this Parisien designer was very special & one that had to join the Zo & Willow soon. Their dress designs are minimal in style with an old-school vibe, combining modern (and sometimes daring!) silhouettes with more romantic, antique-inspired fabrics.
From minimal silhouettes and soft lace details, to boho dropped waists and deep V backlines, statement separates and pretty gowns to sheer lace panels, everything about this collection is about blending shapes, styles and textures, to create something really different for brides.
I are super excited to announce that Zo & Willow has become the exclusive German stockist for Rime Arodaky's Bridal Collection. I have been coveting this Parisienne designer for a long time now as i just love her rock n' roll yet sophisticated approach to bridal, mixing French savoir-faire and high quality fabrics.
We handpicked these gowns from her 2018 & 2017 collection just for our brides in mind. These dresses stand out for all the right reasons. Sheer lace details, floral elements and clean geometric lines provide the balance that give all of Rime’s dresses that fashion forward edge.
You asked and we listened! Made With Love Bridal is now available at Zo & Willow in Berlin. Like you, the Stevie & Harlie dress put a little spell on us that we had to bring this Australian designer's collection to Berlin. We just love how unique their lace dresses are and how simple and flattering the cut of their dresses are.
Cortana was one of the 1st bridal designers that I had to bring to Berlin. Handcrafted in Barcelona their bridal dresses really like no other. I absolutely adore the simplicity of their designs & their fabrics. Their collection is super dreamy, and perfect for brides going for a relaxed, almost ethereal look and doesn't want any embellishments on their dress.
Zo & Willow officially opened its door last month and to honor all the work that went into launching the store, I throw a big party! It was high time to celebrate new bridal styles in Berlin and meet all those cool wedding industry folks that I had been following for a long time on instagram.
It was a very special night mostly because of an amazing group of women that helped transform Zo & Willow into a magical place with flowers, cakes, food, decor and cocktails.
What started off as a Pinterest obsession in search of the perfect dress for my wedding, later became a real business idea as I realised there was a shortage of bridal boutiques that spoke to my style & personalty. So after a 100 Pinterest boards later, many visits to designers' ateliers & bridal markets, and what felt like an endless search for store, Zo & Willow became a reality. It's a very personal story with a lot of heart and passion
